Dr. Francis Sabby is a seasoned lawyer who has been in the legal practice for more than a decade. In his practice and before joining ECRA Attorneys, he enjoyed an opportunity of working with giant law firms in Tanzania, including FB Attorneys. In his career, Dr. Sabby has participated in huge strategic and complex corporate projects, such as ‘Project Tiger’ which, among others, involved a merger between a local company and a foreign company. He has diverse and deep knowledge and experience in various areas of law, including but not limited to labour law, international trade and finance law, criminal law and procedure, administrative law, competition law, company law and dispute resolution in general (litigation and arbitration). Further, Dr. Sabby is a researcher and lecturer of law at the School of Law University of Dar es Salaam (Tanzania). Dr. Sabby’s knowledge and experience are founded on his strong and unquestionable academic background whereas he holds a Bachelor of Laws Degree (LL.B. – 2009); Master of Laws Degree (LL.M. – 2011); and Doctor of Philosophy in Law (PhD Law – 2018) from the University of Dar es Salaam. Also, Dr. Sabby holds a Postgraduate Diploma in Legal Practice from the Law School of Tanzania. He is an Advocate of the High Court of Tanzania and a member of Tanganyika Law Society, a Bar Association for Mainland Tanzania; and a member of the East African Law Society.
With his educational and working experience, Dr. Sabby brings to the Firm his priceless knowledge and experience in his areas of practice in handling various complex transactions which the Firm is involved in, thus assisting the clients navigate easily to have their business succeed.
