Anitha Emmanuel is an experienced lawyer with robust background in oil and gas, commercial and corporate law, intellectual property, and telecommunications & ICT law. She brings to the Firm exceptional and hinghly required knowledge and experience of working with both public and private corporations. This experience enables the Firm to smoothly navigate around the intricacies of the law and ultimately achieve the delivery of effective legal solutions that are tailored to the unique needs of clients. Before joining ECRA Attorneys, Anitha served as Legal Officer at Tanzania Telecommunications Corporation (TTCL) and Tanzania Petroleum Development Corporation (TPDC). Through her service to these public corporations, she honed her skills and gained valuable insights on the nuances of the law. Anitha’s approach combines legal expertise with a client-centric focus in view of ensuring that every legal issue receives the attention it deserves.

Since the legal landscape is dynamic, Anitha is dedicated to staying at the forefront of legal developments through ongoing professional development and active engagement with legal communities. She is driven by commitment to excellence which is reflected in her proactive approach to providing strategic advice and dedicated representation.
Anitha is an advocate of the High Court of Tanzania and subordinate courts thereto. She holds a Diploma in Law (GDL), a Bachelor of Laws Degree (LL.B. – 2016) from Mzumbe University, and a Postgraduate Diploma in Legal Practice from the Law School of Tanzania. Anitha is a member of the Tanganyika Law Society, a Bar association for Mainland Tanzania, and a member of the East African Law Society.
